Extreme Styles Seminar – Scissoring Course
Good Guys Pet Supplies is pleased to welcome back Extreme Stylist Plinio Icassati to lead us in a course all about scissoring. This one-day class will be held in Moncton, NB on March 13th & 14th, 2010. You have the convenience of registering for either Saturday or Sunday’s seminar.
The course will be held in the function room of the Colonial Inn on 42 Highfield Street. It runs from 9:30am to 4:30pm and lunch will be provided. The course layout covers:
Cutting Techniques
Varieties of Shears
Scissor Maintenance
Precision Cuts
Sculpture of the Dog
Correcting Imperfections
We encourage you to bring a dog to the seminar for a more hands-on learning experience. Your dog must have at least 2 inches of growth for optimal results. If you are traveling and cannot bring a dog, please notify us in advance and we will provide you with a local dog to work with. You may also choose to observe the lesson without a dog (please note that the course fee will remain the same).
We ask that you bring your own supplies including scissors, a slicker brush, a grooming comb, thinning shears, a grooming table, as well as a leash, water bowl and crate for your dog.
Dogs should be bathed & dried the morning of the seminar, but not brushed & fluffed. The staff at Wag & Wash are generously offering their facility for morning preparations to anyone who is traveling in for the seminar. Please let us know in advance if you plan on bathing your dog there. Wag & Wash is located at 121 Pine Glen Road, Riverview NB.
The cost for this course is $200 plus HST.
